Graduated from Kyoto College of Arts in the Visual Design Department.
After starting her freelance career after several years at a design firm, tomoto entered CWC’s Fresh Characters Found competition in 2004 and was awarded as a semi-finalist.
She won as a finalist in the following years CWC Chance-ten exhibition as a CWC Tokyo Choice.
She has worked for CWC ever since.
Her bright colors and textures bring a gentle warmth to her illustrations and characters.
